Inspired by the wonderful new phase of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, below are a series of oil paintings where I have tried

to capture the light and atmosphere and multidimensional aspects that you become aware of as you enter the atrium.

Some of the paintings are produced to be shown together in sequence to achieve the effect that I am searching for.
