Oils and acrylics

The brilliant colours down in the South Seas evoke warmth or the strength of the high winds through the palms and the richness of oils
replaces watercolour.

The large cat abstract needed the vibrancy that you rarely get with watercolour and acrylics achieve this.

The Ashmolean Museum paintings in oils were done in the studio, inspired by the wonderful light and form of the new extension.
